40 Years of Wieden+Kennedy
- Date: 10/2022
On April Fool's day, 1982, Dan Wieden and David Kennedy set up an agency in Portland. It was a strange, some might say foolish, place to set up an office, especially when the centre of the advertising world was Maddison Avenue. They did however have a founding client, Nike, that they went on to do some great work for. Since then, W+K has grown across 8 offices, become the largest independent agency in the world, and has worked on the world's biggest brands. To commemorate 40 years of Wieden+Kennedy existence, we created some commemorative swag, like a cherry wood sakura broach, fail harder socks, fools cap, and the 'Founder's Day' black-on-black jacket that features 40 pieces of work chosen from the network. Can you see them all?
